Srinagar: Senior IAS officer of erstwhile J&K cadre, batch 1989, Mr Atal Dulloo is likely to be appointed as the new Chief Secretary of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir upon the retirement of Mr AK Mehta on 30 November 2023.
Mr Dulloo’s premature repatriation from the Centre has been approved today by the Cabinet Committee on Appointments on the request of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs where he is currently posted as Secretary Department of Border Management.
