Srinagar- A teenager was stabbed to death in Dalgate area of Srinagar on Saturday afternoon even as the accused was arrested, police said.
“One juvenile( name withheld) apprehended for stabbing & murdering a 15 year old boy in chinar bagh area. Weapon of offence also recovered on instance of the accused, this knife was thrown by accused in marshy area after the crime. FIR no 36/2023 registered in Kothibagh PS,” police said in a tweet.

The boy has been identified as Burhan Nisar of Konakhan Dalgate.
Pertinently, such incidents saw spike in Srinagar city despite administration banned all the sharp razed equipment for the sale of public.
