Officer says salary not paid for three months, children forced out of school, Is this Naya Pakistan?

After two hours, Pak Foreign Office pulls down tweet, says account was hacked

In Pakistan, an already unstable political and economic situation is now moving to a stage of chaos. An officer of the Pakistan Embassy in Serbia is the latest to break down. At around noon on December 3, a tweet posted by this officer went viral on social media. It took some audacity for the officer to post the tweet and the song mocking their prime minister Imran Khan. His audacity reveals the depth of the distress faced even by government officers.

@PakinSerbia, the official handle of the Pakistan Embassy in Serbia tweeted the following at 11.26 am:

“With inflation breaking all previous records, how long do you expect @ImranKhanPTI that we goverment official will remain silent & keep working for you without been paid for past 3 months & our children been forced out of school due to non payment of fees. Is this #NayaPakistan?”

Here is the link of the tweet which was deleted later: https://t.co/PwtZNV84tv

Just before tweeting the mocking video, the officer had posted another tweet at 11.23 am: “I am sorry @ImranKhanPTI, am not left with another option.”

The tweet was accompanied by the video of a rap mocking the Prime Minister, set to music. As the rapper sings the rap to music, it is interrupted by a mocking monologue of the Pakistan prime minister in which he is saying: Aap ne ghabrana nahi. You must not panic.

Here is the lyric of the video:

Rapper: Sabun mehanga ho jaaye to aap ne lagana nahi

Imran Khan video grab: Aap ne ghabrana nahi

Aap ne ghabrana nahi

Rapper: Aata mehanga ho jaaye to aap ne khana nahi

Imran Khan video grab: Aap ne ghabrana nahi

Aap ne ghabrana nahi

Rapper: Dawai Shawai chhoro ilaaj na karo

Bachon ki padhai rehne do

Feesen na bharo

Haan paise jama kar kar ke bas tax tum bharo

Phir pait ko patti baadhon aur bhook se maro

Qom ko lori dene do Qom ko jagana nahi

It is incredible that the staff of the diplomatic mission of a nation should post such humiliating content against their own nation. Netizens were shocked. A response to the distress tweet by @PakinSerbia tagged @ImranKhanPTI and said: Pakistan government mocking Pakistan government. Pakistan superpower!

As was expected, by 1.30 pm the tweet was deleted.

Soon thereafter, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan swung into damage control. The Foreign Office of Pakistan tweeted: The Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts of the Embassy of Pakistan in Serbia have been hacked. Messages being posted on these accounts are not from the Embassy of Pakistan in Serbia.

Even after the damage control, the Pakistan Embassy Serbia forgot to get this tweet deleted on the Pakistan Embassy in Serbia Twitter handle: , which was posted by the same officer at 11.32 am on December 3: “I am sorry @ImranKhanPTI, am not left with another option.”
